Dr. Claire Kruger is a Managing Partner of Spherix Consulting Group. With more than 30 years of consulting experience, her primary area of expertise is in foods, consumer products and pharmaceuticals, where she provides scientific, regulatory, and strategic support to clients in both the US and international regulatory arenas. She has designed, placed, monitored, evaluated and published results from toxicology studies ranging from acute to carcinogenicity in rodent, non-rodent and non-human primates for use in product approvals. Dr. Kruger has conducted toxicity evaluations of food, food contaminants, and dietary supplements, as well as health risk assessments and exposure assessments of drugs, cosmetics, and pesticides. Her clients include food, drug, and dietary supplement manufacturers, agricultural producers, biotechnology companies, trade associations, and law firms.
Dr. Dietrich Conze is a Managing Partner at Spherix Consulting Group. He is a cell and molecular biologist specializing in the signal transduction pathways that regulate innate and adaptive immunity, inflammation, and tumorigenesis. Dr. Conze is responsible for the critical evaluation of scientific literature, design and interpretation of preclinical and clinical studies for food ingredients, dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals, and the preparation of reports for regulatory submissions, Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) dossiers, New Dietary Ingredient Notifications (NDIN), Novel Foods Submissions, Investigational New Drug Applications (IND), and New Drug Applications (NDA).

Dr. Symonds is a Senior Project Manager at Spherix Consulting Group. Dr. Symonds provides guidance regarding dietary supplements, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, biochemistry, and analytical method development, particularly in the preparation of Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) dossiers, New Dietary Ingredient Notifications (NDIN), Novel Foods Submissions, Investigational New Drug Applications (IND), and New Drug Applications (NDA). Her goal is to provide clients with a clear understanding of the science that is appropriate to use in demonstrating the safety and/or efficacy of their products.
Dr. Sindler is a Project Manager at Spherix Consulting Group. She has a unique background that encompasses directing a small R&D Scientific Affairs team at a dietary supplement company to running her independent research laboratory at the University of Iowa. Dr. Sindler completed post-doctoral training in the Integrative Physiology of Aging laboratory at the University of Colorado Boulder, specializing in cellular and molecular adaptations that contribute to various pathophysiological conditions.

Dr. Leronni is a Staff Scientist at Spherix Consulting Group. Her areas of expertise comprise molecular and cellular biology, mitochondria dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases, and viral vectors gene therapy. Dr. Leronni’s responsibilities at Spherix Consulting Group include reviewing, critically evaluating, and summarizing scientific literature; analyzing scientific data; and writing reports for regulatory submissions. She also prepares health risk assessment and regulatory compliance dossiers for Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) dossiers, New Dietary Ingredients Notifications (NDIN), Novel Food Submissions, Investigational New Drug Applications (IND), and New Drug Applications (NDA).
